Project Overview:

Toyota embarked on a digital transformation journey, goal was to modernise legacy systems, address IT talent shortages, and build an agile development environment using low-code tools.

Legacy systems built with outdated programming languages (PL/I, COBOL) were difficult to maintain and nearing the end of their lifespan.

Design Process

1. Information Architecture

Developed a sitemap for the new system, ensuring a clear and logical information hierarchy

2. Wireframes

Created low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualise the user interface and user flows of the new system.

3. Usability Study

Conducted usability testing with representative users to assess the usability and effectiveness of the designed UI.

Persuasive attitude towards achieving the goal is one of those very important qualities necessary for success. Asking natural and simple questions are sometimes the most difficult questions to answer. Being very flexible and adjusting yourself to the situation of the customer is very positive. It shows you can adapt to any situation but keeping track of the path to the goal.
